Please keep our Diocesan pilgrims, Bp John, Fr Max, Anne, Rachel, Fr Martin, Vivien, Rosalyn, Kim, Ruth, Fr Paul, Helen, Gloria, Lachlan, Fr Daniel, Jazz, Gregory, Janette, Sandra, Davina, Michael, Annette, Shirley, Philip, Anna, Bruce, Diane, Maureen, Lynn and Oliver, in your prayers.
Lord, You who called your servant Abraham out of the town of Ur and who watched over him during all his wanderings; You who guided the Jewish people through the desert in their journey to the Promised Land; You who guided the Holy Family on their passage to Egypt;
we beseech You to watch over your servants, who for Your greater honour and glory, make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Be for them,
a companion on their journey
the guide on their intersections
the strengthening in their fatigue
the fortress in danger
the resource on their itinerary
the shadow in their heat
the light in their darkness
the consolation during dejection
and the power of their intention
so that they under your guidance, safely and unhurt, may reach the end of their pilgrimage, and strengthened with gratitude and power,
secure and filled with happiness, may return home to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel.
