Invest with us - Anglican Funds South Australia
What is it?
The Anglican Development Fund (The Murray) was established by Synod in 1986 and revised in 1992.
Until July 2011 the ADF-The Murray operated independently with its own Board and administration located within the Diocese. The Board decided that it was in the best interest of depositors and the Diocese to join with Anglican Funds South Australia (AFSA), who because of their size could offer better returns to investors together with more investment options while still returning funds to the Diocese by way of distributions.
The ADF-The Murray became a branch of AFSA as from the 1st July 2011. Day to day management of the funds now vests with AFSA.
Put your savings to work
You will find the Anglican Funds South Australia a most rewarding investment. By placing your savings in the Fund you receive a fair interest rate in return. You may choose to receive this interest, to place it at the disposal of your Parish or for the Diocese to distribute to the Parishes in our Diocese. The Fund is free of fees. This means that your money is not eaten away by fees and at the same time you are funding the work of God. In simple terms it costs you nothing to support the work of the Church through the AFSA.
How is the interest paid?
Interest is calculated on the daily balance and paid to your nominated account at the end of each month. You may elect to accept the interest and this will be credited to your account, donate it to your local Parish or allow it be distributed by the Diocese.
Why invest in the Fund?
- It helps the Church in this Diocese.
